Miss Keiko has provided a warm and simple preschool that has been a great transition from the home to school for my child, helping to set the tone that school is a fun, safe, and special place to be. Treasure Garden is built on a curriculum that focuses on developing foundational practical kinesthetic habits, self, community, and space-care techniques, and inspiring a love for learning and social relationships.
The rhythm of the seasons, the day-to-day routine (play, art, snack, play, lesson, play, lunch, clean-up, story), and the processing of each day’s lessons (ranging from accountability, to being good friends, to how to use scissors, why the seasons change, the colors, physical exercises, raising butterflies, making dumplings and sushi) allows for little ones to strengthen their sense of self and fulfill their joy in knowing that they can contribute in a meaningful way.
Keiko’s approach, steeped with an appreciation and joy for young children, balances Waldorf principals and Japanese traditions, cultivates a love for school, helping others, creative outdoor play, and a love for learning in my child–foundations that I highly value and am grateful for.

A warm and loving place where my 3-year-old thrives and spends very happy mornings. We are so happy we found this preschool that lays the foundation for a Waldorf education. The kids have a consistent schedule, intentional toys, healthy food and kind friends.

Keiko is a wonderful, kind, and gentle caretaker. My son spent two years in her preschool program and we both loved it. I always knew he was not only safe in her care but also receiving developmentally appropriate opportunities for play, arts and crafts, cooking, and physical growth. I could not recommend Treasure Garden more
